Super C engine problems...part II

Well I did what you all suggested, but when I pulled of my starter, I noticed where a piece of felt had come loose from the starter and got bound in the flywheel. The good news, is that the motor turns, the bad news is that the flywheel has "damage" along the edge...I know what replacing this entails..I had thought I would keep running it till it drops OR I could sell it..any suggestions..??? The bottom line--all kidding aside, is it safe to keep running this till it drops?
