There is a big difference between the 400 and 800 cyclo planters. One major thing that you will like, at least I do, is the one hopper that you can fill, so you don't have to do it to every row. My dad sold a 400 4 row wide about 10 years ago for $300, so they aren't worth much. The 800 is a much better planter, a big thing would be that you can no till with it. If you do get an 800, I would suggest putting the offset closing disks on it from the 900, it will make things much simpler. Just my 2 cents.
