We end up replacing the disk openers, the furrow point and the red thing that holds the dirt out about every two years, depending on how much we no-till with it on our 900. If that red thing that holds the dirt out, can't think of the name now cause it is late, is wore, it will plant the seed off to one side. But all that stuff is replaceable. The 800 is a great planter, had one before the 900, but the 900 is even better, even if the 800 has 900 updates. You would be surprised in the difference in the row units.
