Good looking machine. The temp gauge screws into the touch control unit on the left hand side or clutch side.Not sure on what the handle is you asked about. I put new tires on mine last summer but I can't recall the size right now.When I was restoring mine I by mistake ordered two temp gauges from Carter & Grunwald. Long story on how that happened, I missplaced the first one and found it after I was all done with the tractor. I think it was 40 or $50. Let me know if you can use one.Can't help any with your steering questions.
