The first time I had it rebuilt,It just didn't run good, even after a complete engine overhaul .Something inside the pump was stuck. The second time the pump for some unknown reason locked up. It's not running the best right now when it first starts but in time smoothes out and it doesn't start as easy as it did before. If I could buy a brand new pump right now ,I would buy one ,no matter the cost.If I had a real good pump I'D have an excellent tractor.
