I bought my 450 for $1800.00, put $1200.00 in the motor, $500.00 into steering and hydraulics, new front tires- $100.00, needs new rear tires- $500.00, new fluids all around- $150.00, the radiator has a slow leak -$300.00 for a new one, And I haven't even thought about paint yet. I guess I'm saying what the others have said in that the tractor will be worth about what you put in it and it's up to you to figure out how "new" you want it. Mine is a working tractor and I can live without new paint and a leaky radiator untill I have the time and money to fix it. The main thing is that it should be Mechanicly sound enough to do the work that you ask it to do. If you are trying to fix it up to sell for a profit, forget it. The only people that make a profit in this hobby are the parts dealers!!!
