I have a 4786 that my brother in law and I bought new in 1980. It still has original engine, transmission, and rear ends. I think what saved it was limiting the high idle to about 2300 instead of 2800+ when it was still in warranty. All my neighbor's 45s were flying to pieces at that time and I wanted mine to last. I have 30.5 X 32 with 23.1 X 34 duals and it will almost walk on water.
