Farmall H and a snowplow???

I'd like to put about a 7' or 8' snowplow on the front of my 1940 Farmall H. I have a few questions that I am sure some of you out there can answer.
Was there ever a factory set up for a snow plow? If not, will the frame of the tractor handle a bolt on frame work and will my old internal hydraulic system lift a snowplow? I'd like to adapt a plow that normally fits on a pickup truck.
What about my narrow front end? Would that be a problem?
Would I need chains? My tires are pretty good.
What about a canvas weather shield? Are they available?
We just got blasted with about 10 inches and I could have really used one today...would be a lot of fun too!
