Gary, I think I finally figured out why many of the oil slinger gears in the Farmall A and B's have their teeth striped. When I recently was working on restoration of my B, I found that gear stripped. The gear is aluminum and when water condenses in the transmission and freezes in the winter, the aluminum teeth can't take the force like the steel ones can and when you let out the clutch with that aluminum gear frozen in, it starts the teeth shearing off. Once it starts, it eventually stripes them all as it jumps across the no tooth area. Roger
