Go with the 656 Unless you need a lawn mower. You can do 10 times as much with the 656 and if it's a diesel you can bring the horsepower safley to 70-80 hp. The D282 does start easy if your glow plugs and pump timing are right. Have a 282 in my 706 and it starts easy.
