I looked on my parts CD. The part number listed for the weights on both the Super A and the M is 353915 R91. They are different on the MD because the distributor turns opposite direction. Part number for the MD weights is 353917 R91. Possibly they got crossed up and gave you weight for an MD (diesel engine). Numbers I have given you are for battery ignition distributor. Try Carter & Gruenewald. They will get you the correct thing.
