Check for the suffix X1 on the serial number tag? I do not beleive the 1944 or the 1948 H we have has either one of those suffixs on the tags. The 1944 is the one I want to replace the engine with the one I found. Dad had told me it was disalate fuel that had been switched over. I have no Idea. The 1948 H was bought new by my grandfather and it is straight gas. Check the link below the nice red one is the 48 and the rusty one is the 44 that is going to get a engine trasplant! thanks for the help
