I have a Super A with an A motor ( before my time ) . When I bought it it had a power steering pump to run the Hydraulics . It was slower than the second coming so I proceded to look into ways of fixing the problem , short of changing a good motor . The crank has a centering hole in it, so I made a shaft that looks like the end of a hand crank . I ground down the end so it fit the centering hole and placed it in there with a small combine pump on the end. I made sure it self centered then tightened it up.That was 2 years ago and it runs the touch control perfectly. So it can be done , but maybe only on tractors that the crank lines up like it does on the Super A.
