I am looking at an 856 to buy for restoration. Some parts have already been scrapped off of it, but I'd say 85% of it is there. It is a gas, but don't anybody make a fuss out of it because it is for restoration purposes, not full time economical farming. It was in a fire, what burned or how the tractor burned is not known. It has a cab, and the front, entire exterior, entire interior except top and radio were at one point on fire. Guages still there but blackened on top. Back and bottom, all behind engine good. Engine is not cracked to be appeared, and oil in pan is still good, no oil leaks, radiator hose still intact, International and 856 emblems on one side still there and in good shape, nothing left of front tires and back tires saw some heat on front portions. The way the battery is melted would show that it was a WOOF type of fire, where it didn't burn long, or was in a structure fire in which it was pulled out or something, exposing it to fire for maybe ten minutes. How much could restoration run me, between buying parts, cab parts, and overall fixings? Thanks to all in advance.
