Bill: None of the A tractors, not even the ones with starters had hydraulics. The factory hydraulics came with the introduction of the SA in late 1947. There may well be a few A tractors around today with hydraulics. Some one has either misnamed tractor or changed engine and torque tube. Quite a few misnamed tractors out there, new paint and decals put on by people who just didn't know. Then there are those resale, rebuilder artists, who realize a Super will bring more money.
