I have a chance to purchase an H farmall, not sure what year yet, have not gone to look at it. The fellow told me that he bought the H for the factory wide front and he replaced it with the narrow front from an M? I wanted to know if this was possible. I think I read somewhere that the H and the M share the same frame. Is this correct? Are the front bolsters the same on these two tractors? Is the main difference of the H and the M the horsepower?
I don't want to buy something that has been cobbled together.
