Doug back when Ms were being used for full time farm work my Dad ran several. During busy season he would use local high school boys as drivers and severl times they trashed a transmission by improper shifting. An experienced driver can shift from fourth to fifth without stopping but it only takes one rough shift to break a tooth off of a gear.
