Touch Control Hydraulic Unit

By the way, yesterday when I was tearing my Super C down to break it in half, I removed the drain plug from the hydraulic unit. Unbeknownst to me, it was under some pressure and I literally took a bath in hydraulic fluid. Is this unit not vented? I can't understand why the reservour would not have some type of breather, especially as hot as the fluid gets. I don't see any reference to one in the manuals, nor can I find anything that looks like a vent on the unit. Any help?
