I have always cranked the tractor rev up to high
speed move the mixture screw in to rough then back
out to engine is rough again then back in to I
think sound is correct - move throttle to low
speed then if carb is correct you should be able
to move back to high speed with throttle with
little or no hesitation from the carb. I agree
with prior posts that engine will not get down
to low rpm idle is somewhere between your throttle
and carb...Always be careful - neutral gear - etc
when working off that tractor and engine running..
