If you do not have a manual for your tractor, you need to get one. I think most all 444 tractors came with provision to install a remote valve. It's just a matter of knowing where to connect the valve and the return from the valve. The manual will tell you where to hook it up. I think any common open center valve would work. For a loader, you might need an additional reservoir, as I think the 444 had a fairly small reservoir, separate from the the transmission. If you want to use a separate pump and reservoir, that should be fairly easy (If you have the $) as I think most 444s had independent PTO and thus you can just put a pump on the PTO and it will provide live hydraulics for you.
