Get a TA eliminator kit and do away with it and that will solve the freewheel problem for good. I am mostly a Deere driver but I do like some of the red iron and will be getting some of it in the not too distant future, hopefully a 656 or 756. I had opportunity to buy a 656 this year for $3000.00 and just didn't have the means to get it, made me sick too and it had the TA taken out of it. I'm not real fond of this TA business but I'm in no way cutting it down here so noone take offense. Just some views here, there is several things I would change on my 4020 and 3020 Deere as well. Its really in them all, no color war intended, they all have some things that after they have been running for so long we can look back and see good changes that were just not thought of at the time they were built. I had a 656 at one time and the TA in it did do the freewhell deal if I remember right. Hope this helps in some way. signed, A multi colored driver!
