Thanks Puller, I have had a 4430 Deere and would still have if not for an ex-wife and it did have a Quad Range and I enjoyed it very much baling hay with it. I was mearly pointing out that removing the TA(which I have heard of so much trouble with them, otherwise why would there be a an eliminator kit?) would solve the particular problem listed in the original post. I do not have anything against TA's whatsoever, of course I have not really got any time in with them. I do realise that all machines have their problems from time to time(TA, Quad Range, and Syncro). If it runs its going to break down in time. I appreciate your posts and hope for the best of luck for you. Thanks! Gary
