Yes the belt is tight--its new-- I replaced it yesterday. The water pump pumps like crazy. I can see the water flowing. I will pull the pump off in a few days and check it out better. But it seems fine. I use the tractor about 30hrs a week and the gas is killing me. Shes a thirsty old girl. I was told that it will do better on fuel if it warms up.
