I probably shouldn't be answering this on this board, I'll probably get laughed off! I baled up about 700 bales this summer with a New Holland Hayliner, pulled by a 1949 JD B... no live power. As long as you're careful to have the baler (and ground speed) up to speed before you hit the windrow, you should have no problems. (I also have a Farmall 200 - it did the mowing and raking.)
