I'm really not an IH or Farmall guy. I have mostly owned Fergusons and Fords, although occasionally a Super A and a 140, and my wife has an old 4 cyl. Scout. But what puzzles me is that I see almost nothing about this being the 100th anniversary of the forming of IHC. I have read that the company was formed from five other companies, principally the two owned by McCormick (Cyrus' son) and by Deering plus three others, on August 12, 1902. Unless what I've read is incorrect that makes August 2002 the 100th anniversary! How come I don't see lots of info on that all over the place? I know many of the patents predated the forming of IHC, but I would think that would be a historic event for you guys that would be blasted out all over the place. I've been to three tractor shows in the last month and I never saw it mentioned, and I don't see anything on this board about it. Just rambling. Any thoughts?
