Just because Tenneco bought the IH ag division doesn't mean it isn't still in business ... the IH Axial-Flow combines are still being sold, albeit with updates and improvements, and they are still being built in the IH combine plant in East Moline, IL; a number of components in the Case IH tractors are IH designs that are still being built, not the least of which is the powershift transmission. There's relatively little Case in Case IH tractors. It's still in business, just under a different name ... Cub Cadet is still in business under different ownership ... the IH Solar Turbine division is still in business(it's now owned by Caterpillar) ...
