I was a grade schooler in the early sixties and IH tractors were my passion and yes they did offer an 806 AND a 706 with front wheel assist as early as 64 or 65. I remember seeing the 806 photo in the Buyer's Guides plain as day with the front traction tires. He owes you breakfast, a big t bone with eggs and hashbrowns maybe?
