Front Wheel drive tractors of the 60's

I need help.... I was at coffee the other morning and we were discussing tractors etc. I mentioned I knew a farmer who in the 1960's (when I was growing up) purchased a IHC Farmall 806 DSL with front wheel assist. I was told by a retired farmer at coffee that there were no front wheel assists made until the late 70's. I know that Minn Moline, Oliver and International all had early tractors with this option. Could any farmers of that time period or any farmers help me out with a note or picture? I would appreciate it. He owes me breakfast if I can prove it. David
