I am making my first attempt at splitting my 300 U. In fact my first split job on any tractor, never even "seen" it done before. Any good ideas that will make the job easier? I am working in the wifes garage , which is good size but with out a chain hoist, etc. I am re-doing the clutch. Looking for suggestion from anyone with simple ways to stabilze the two halves, once split and easiest method to roll or move the two halves back together. Is the clutch job as straight forward as it sounds. Work, but doesen't sound unmanagable for a couple of guys.True? A weekend job? Any advise would be welcomed as I search through the archives. Thanks in advance.
