1943????????? What Went On

Just curious. I know that IHC was involved with the War effort and manfactured equipment for the military. The Data Book shows that tractors were made all during the war years also. Here is the question. The Data Book shows that there was no official production of A's and only five B's made in 1943. But there were 21,000+ H's made but only 4,000+ M's. Does anyone know what was going on at IHC during 1943 that caused these strange numbers?????
