I've never done much sheet metal/bondo work before. I'm currently working on the hood of my 1936 F-20. It has a crack on the side of the hood which I figured a hole should be drilled at the end of the crack. What types of welds or welding equipment do I use do repair the crack. I have two clips that are fastened to the top of the hood that are damaged. They hold the throttle and spark rods. I think Rice Equipment may have the one but how do I remove them and replace. Somone had drilled holes and tied bailing wires to hold the linkage I assume you can weld the holes and grind off. Dents I'm sure you just pound and putty, unless someone has better suggestions. Thanks.
