The points don't know the difference between 6-12 vlts but the condensor does, need to get rid of the ballast resistor and find a 12 volt condensor(maybe sm block chev or similar)that will fit in dist. then it will work fine.Truly dont know how much voltage that resistor cuts from 12 volts but I will check it tonight and report back.
