Farmall books for my Birthday

my b-day was saturday and a month ago or so my wife asked me what I wanted for my b-day and I said a book called 150 years of IH. She couldnt find that one so she got me Guy Fays book "farmall letter series tractors" great book, excellent pictures, havent read it all yet and farmall tractors by Lee Klancher, I finished that one yesterday. I have one question for anybody who knows, What happened to the tractor manufacturing plants in Indy, Louisville and Chicago when IH stopped making tractors?
