Just wanted to thank everyone who replied to my post last week about the 240's hydraulics. Here's what I did- tore the regulator valve back down, deburred the valve and pistons, put it all back together, and I had hydraulics. They were working, but still pulling down the engine a little bit. So as I'm looking around, I notice that 42 years worth of dirt and grease is gumming the linkages for the right and rear control valves toghether, causing the rear valve to actuate at the same time as the right valve, putting extra load on the system. Sometimes it's the little things that hold you up, but now the 240 is ready to go.
