Summary: New pump, fluid, O rings, Gaskets, inspected everything, reasemble, everything work for a short time and now nothing.
well i just got done going through the hydra-touch system with Tele-a-depth. i took everything apart, ran it through the parts washer blew all the passages out with air. i double and trippled checked the orface that has a screen (size 31) as well as the piston to make sure it wasnt stuck. i did all of this since i changed the pump, fluid and filter..the org pump went out and the fast hitch wanted to float where ever it wanted to when it was working. There were some times it was still under high preasure with the new pump so i moved the levers to run the fast hitch up and down and to get the air out of the lines, at one point it was pulling the tractor down so hard it would make the tractor stumble and shut the tractor off. Made more adjustments and put everything back together. Hooked to the field culitivator and it lifted it no problem. drive to the field let it down and everything is working great!! come to the end of the field and go to raise the tool and NOTHING... NOTHING but one hot headed guy that was ready to throw a match at it..!!! GRRR is there anything i missed? i've been using IH's online parts cataloge which is a great help. any input would be great..
