All good suggestions for exploratory surgery.Just another idea that just happened to me. I bought a tractor that had been sitting up for 20 years and I wasn't getting any circulation. Finally figured out the bird nest in the top of the radiator was preventing water from reaching the water pump fast enouogh. Flushed thru the radiator backwards with a big water hose and now the radiator will empty in 1 1/2- 2 seconds and it cools fine. On the IH if you take the thermostat out water will circulate like a fast running stream. If the radiator is stopped up it will run over. My 2 cents.
