Hi Earl, Good to hear that you got a sleeve. I take it that you don't have your old sleeve out yet? Your puller should be smaller than the outside of the sleeve so it doesn't catch on the block. I can't remember, do the sleeves on your 450 stick down below the block? If so you can use your puller to break them loose just as it is, and maybe you can get them out the rest of the way by trying to turn them with a pipewrench, but go easy. Be sure to stop when your puller gets to the block. If they don't stick down, then you will have to grind your puller adapter. Put some locktite around the bottom of the sleeve when you install it. There is a special locktite for engine assmebly, used to hold in valve seats and such, ask around for it. Good luck, Matthew in SD
