I would say a 1000lb bale is too much for such a small tractor, that's why pieces started to break. The loader on our 1256 is a Farmhand F235 and that even cracks once in a while with our 1500lb bales! Not to mention we pretty much tore the whole front axle to pieces one time loading manure with it. One thing about these tractors and loaders is that the loader will generally lift more than the tractor can handle at any more than a slow speed. It only takes 1 hole to break an axle. Steven
