Actually, 85W-140 is a closer gear lube to the
original that they used in the rear ends of
these tractors. 90W is OK too, but the 85W
140 will let you shift easier.

As for the belly pump, I use HyTran in mine
because the implements are used in our
other tractors and I don't want to contaminate
the HyTran in them. Otherwise straight 30
weight non detergent oil - detergent oil will
foam. HyTran works ok but won't net as much
pressure when hot.
