Finally got around to getting a bigger resister to try to stop my tractor when the switch is pushed in. Went from 10 ohms/2 watts to 10 ohms/10 watts. Now the battery won't charge, but the engine shuts down just fine (after jumping it). Am I missing something like my alternator is screwed up, or do I just need to keep plugging new resisters in try to find the magic one? Thanks.
