Hello Dave. Rubber tires were first available from I.H. in 1933. So Regulars came on steel and could be changed to any rubber tired wheel available for F20's. Wheels came in 24, 28, and 36 all round spoke. The earliest tend to use the 24 and 28 size. I can find no evidence that the 36" cast center rear wheels were available before 1937. You will also notice the bolster is extended a few inches down at the dust shield if the tractore came equipted with 36" rears rubber. This could compensates for the nose down attitude if not so equipted. You are right, they are all mixed up now and many people have different opinions. It's hard to argue with parts and photo archive books.
