I have an H and an M. Believe me, the bolt paterns look the same, but they are not. You will not be able to switch the front ends around without doing some drilling or crafty torch work. the M is a larger pattern than the H on the steering block that bolts to the column. As for the adaptor plate that bolts to the frame, those holes don't line up either.
