We have a 6788 that has been a good tractor, it will pull right with our nieghbors 7240 mfd. The 3 speed in the 6788 will shift much easier than the 4 speed, as long as you don't need it for pto work such as chopping and you have plenty of power to throttle down you probably won't miss the extra gear except for driving down the road, their a little slower. The 6788 does have some refinements and improvements over the 3388 and with only 347 built they are pretty rare.
