I have 2 3588's and they will work circles around my dads 1586's. 2000 hours is pretty low for a tractor that is almost 25 yrs.old. another thing to check is the front diff. oil, there is a dipstick under the shaft from the engine to the trans. Should be clean HY-tran. I would prefer the 67 just because it is a newer tractor. But either one will pull what you described. Please post auction results, would like to know what they bring. By the way where is the auction? Thanks
