Yep the alt. was std. and in the book they were called a gen/alt but they were a mid 70 gm alt and i am not sold on the electronic conversion of the dist. just yet , i have installed several and have had problems with them and i can adjust a lot of points for the price of one and the ones that are on the market are not hei unless you add a MSD with it.
