I have a 44 Farmall A and have to say it is a really great tractor. I wouldn't worry about it overheating, assuming the radiator and whatnot aren't clogged or anything. We use A's at home for everything from plowing the ground (a couple acre's worth) in the spring to snow plowing in the winter and never have had a problem overheating. Does the one you are looking at comes with any attachments (ie cultivators, snow plow, etc) and is it pneumatic or hand lift? Good luck in your search.
