Dad and Grand-dad sold and installed a lot of M and W "Tenderfoot" hand clutches over that very issue. But add that, and M and W live hydraulics, plus a 3-point conversion, and you made an H into a viable tractor for a lot of years...and removing the sheet metal to work on it wasn't the battle it was on the '00/'50/'60-series tractors, either.
