The tree huggers keep claiming that we are cutting old growth
forest for paper, it is not true. Have you ever heard of pulp wood
plantations? They plant pine trees and every so many years they cut
the entire field and plant the next crop. All the big paper
companies either own their own or contract, so they always know
how much supply they have.

Now, after the logs have been cut and sent to the sawmill, the tops
and branches may go into pulp wood. Around here it goes into
firewood.
