Yes for all but drag disk. If wheel harrows or 3 point lift type are in the ground they are not flexible. They can make gradual turns following the lay of the land, but don't try to turn on end of field or any sharp turns with them. This can cause damage to axles and disk while turning as well as other things too. You should thank your neighbor for trying to help.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
