SM starting discussion

Good morning everyone,
I have a quick question. I've got a 53 Super M, that hasn't been run in a few months to a year. I can't seem to get it started. I've got great spark, but no fuel delivery to the cylinders. What do you guys recommend to get some fuel at least started to atomize to induce combustion? I've heard of spraying gas into the carb, so it's easy to suck into the cylinders. Or how about pull starting it? I just don't want to keep spinning the starter, and burn it out. I should mention the carb has been gone through, and no clogs/blocks or any problems like that. Thanks for the help.
